Daniela Brandão é investigadora integrada do grupo de investigação AgeinC – Envelhecimento, da Linha Temática 1 (LT1) – Medicina Preventiva & Desafios Societais.
Fez licenciatura e mestrado em Gerontologia pela Universidade de Aveiro. Em 2019, concluiu o doutoramento em Investigação Clínica e em Serviços de Saúde na Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto (FMUP), com uma tese intitulada “Use of care services in the context of geriatric morbidity: a study with octogenarians, nonagenarians and centenarians”.
Começou a colaborar com a UNIFAI-ICBAS em 2009, e faz parte da equipa do Centro de Atendimento 50+. No CINTESIS, tem desenvolvido atividade de investigação em diversos projetos, nomeadamente o projeto CQC – Cuidar de Quem Cuida, na área dos cuidados informais, e o PT100 – Centenários do Porto, que estuda a população em idade muito avançada.
