Tânia Lourenço is an integrated researcher at CINTESIS. She is a member of the research group NursID –
NursID: Innovation & Development in Nursing, of the Thematic Line (TL1) – Preventive Medicine & Societal Challenges.
She graduated in 2004 from the São José de Cluny School of Nursing, in Funchal (Madeira). She completed a postgraduate degree in Philosophy-Bioethics, a Specialization in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing, a Master’s Degree and a Ph.D. in Nursing at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, in 2006, 2010, 2011, and 2019, respectively. She worked as a nurse at the Health Service of the Autonomous Region of Madeira. Tânia Lourenço was a member of the governing bodies of the Ordem dos Enfermeiros in the 2012-15 office. She is the author of manuals and several publications in the field of Nursing.
She is an assistant professor at the São José de Cluny School of Nursing, where she is a member of the Technical-Scientific Council and the coordinator of the Specialization in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing.
