Vaccines against COVID-19 bring hope but also challenges for the supply chain. This is because the cold is an essential condition so that the vaccines do not deteriorate, before reaching the users. In the case of some vaccines, the temperature required for its conservation is quite low, requiring even tighter measures.
Nuno Vale, a researcher at CINTESIS/Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto, gave an interview to the newspaper Expresso, in which he answered several questions.
