The Program BIP Proof, supported by the Foundation Amadeu Dias and Santander Universidades, has launched another call to which applications can be submitted until January 8, 2021.
This program will allocate 10 thousand euros to six projects to fund proofs of concepts in the research ecosystem of the University of Porto, including the organic units and investee entities.
Eligible projects must result from R&D developed in this ecosystem that has a clear objective with well-defined results leading to the development of new products, processes, or services with defined applications.
Furthermore, eligible projects must emphasize a significant impact on the approach to the market and the commitment of the research team in supporting the commercialization and eventual exploration of results.
BIP Proof aims to promote the concretization of stages that lead to the valorization of promising research results (such as prototypes of technical feasibility, “in vitro”/”in vivo” tests, and market feasibility studies).

The proposals will be analyzed by the U.Porto Innovation and classified according to the documentation submitted.
