Short Bio

José Laerte Boechat is an integrated researcher of the CINTESIS group  PaCeIT: Patient-Centered Innovation and Technologies, of the TL3 – Health Data, Decision Sciences & Information Technologies.

He has a degree in Medicine from the Brazilian federal higher education institution Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF), in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), in 1993. He did his internship in Pediatrics at the University Hospital Antônio Pedro (UFF), from 1994 to 1996 and completed a postgraduate course in Allergy and Immunology from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), in 1996, where he also earned a Master in Clinical Medicine, in the area of Allergy and Immunology, in 2001. He completed his doctorate at the UFRJ, in the area of Pulmonology, in 2009.

He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Clinical Immunology Service of the Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF).
