She graduated in Gerontology from the School of Health of the University of Aveiro in 2008, obtained her Master’s degree from the Faculty of Sport of the University of Porto in 2011, and completed her Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar of the University of Porto in 2021.
She is part of the Centro de Atendimento 50+ (ICBAS-UP)team and has participated in several research projects in the area of Gerontology and Health. Currently, she works as a researcher at the Center for Research, Training, Diagnosis and Monitoring of Dementia (CIDIFAD) of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Riba D’Ave.
