O futuro das crianças será o tema central do Congresso Internacional, apoiado pelo CINTESIS, que irá juntar especialistas em saúde infantil na Escola Superior de Saúde (ESSV) do Instituto Politécnico de Viseu, no próximo dia 1 de junho, às 09h00.
Intitulado “A Criança no Mundo – Hoje e Amanhã”, este evento “pretende refletir, debater e trocar experiências, acrescentando conhecimento, apresentando soluções ou levantando novas questões, contribuindo assim para o progresso da enfermagem de saúde das crianças e suas famílias”.
Pedro Oliveira, psicólogo clínico, Tetiana Kriuchko e Yuliia Lysanet, da Universidade de Poltava, e Margarida Reis Santos, do CINTESIS/Escola Superior de Enfermagem do Porto (ESEP), vão abordar “Os Problemas do Mundo atual: questões relevantes para a Saúde da Criança”, “Investigação e ensino em enfermagem de Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica” e “Nascer e Crescer na era da Tecnologia: O Cérebro (In)Feliz”. Francisco Mendes, do Centro Hospitalar Universitário de São João, Fernanda Jorge Magalhães, da UNIFOR e Manuela Graniza, da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Coimbra, também vão marcar presença.
Antes do Congresso, no dia 31 de maio, haverá lugar a vários Workshops em simultâneo. Os temas incluem primeiros socorros na infância, suporte básico de vida pediátrico, massagem infantil, entre outros.
O prazo para submissão de trabalhos foi alargado até ao dia 21 de maio através do e-mail crianca.mundo.2023@gmail.com.

The future of children will be the central theme of the International Congress, supported by CINTESIS, which will bring together experts in child health at the Higher School of Health (ESSV) of the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu, on June 1, at 9h00.
“The Child in the World – Today and Tomorrow”, is the title of this event which “aims to reflect, debate and exchange experiences, adding knowledge, presenting solutions or raising new questions, thus contributing to the progress of health nursing for children and their families.
Pedro Oliveira, clinical psychologist, Tetiana Kriuchko and Yuliia Lysanet, from the University of Poltava, and Margarida Reis Santos, from CINTESIS/Nursing School of Porto (ESEP), will address “The Problems of Today’s World: relevant issues for Child Health”, “Research and teaching in Child Health and Pediatric Nursing”, and “Birth and Growth in the Age of Technology: The (Un)Happy Brain”. Francisco Mendes, from the University Hospital Center of São João, Fernanda Jorge Magalhães, from UNIFOR, and Manuela Graniza, from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra, will also attend.
Before the Congress, on May 31, several workshops will take place simultaneously. Topics include first aid in childhood, pediatric basic life support, and infant massage, among others.
