“Ambientes de Prática de Enfermagem Positivos – Um Roteiro para a Qualidade e Segurança” (Positive Nursing Practice Environments – A Roadmap for Quality and Safety) is the title of a new book coordinated by the CINTESIS/Nursing School of Porto (ESEP) researcher Olga Ribeiro and published by LIDEL.
Two other researchers from CINTESIS/ESEP, Manuela Nené and Carlos Sequeira, are responsible for the direction of the collection.
According to the authors, “positive nursing practice environments are key to maximize results in terms of client safety and satisfaction, ensure the health and well-being of professionals, and achieve optimal organizational performance.
The information compiled in this book is the result of research and is intended primarily for nurses, researchers, students, and others interested in the topic of professional practice environments.
Olga Ribeiro is a researcher of the NursID – Innovation and Development in Nursing group, of CINTESIS, and a professor at ESEP. She is a post-doctoral fellow in Nursing Science and president of the Association for the Promotion of Positive Nursing Practice Environments. In addition to the book now published, she is the author of “Rehabilitation Nursing – Conceptions and Practices”, released in 2021, also by LIDEL, in the collection LIDEL Enfermagem.
