Alberto Pinto Hespanhol is an integrated researcher of the PrimeCare group, Thematic Line 1 – Preventive Medicine & Societal Challenges of CINTESIS.
He is a Medical Doctor specialized in Family and General Medicine, and with competence in Geriatrics, working at the Family Health Unit (USF) of São João, in Porto. He was the Director of the Health Centre of Espinho and the Health Centre of São João and integrated the national team of the Mission for the Primary Health Care (MCSP, in Portuguese). Currently, he is a member of the National Council and the North Regional Council of the Order of Doctors.
Alberto Hespanhol is Guest Associate Professor of the Department of Community Medicine, Health Information and Decision (MEDCIDS) of FMUP, member of the Scientific Council and the professor responsible for several Continuing Education courses at that institution.
