Ana Paula Prata Amaro de Sousa is an integrated researcher of the CINTESIS group NursID based at the Nursing School of Porto (ESEP), where she works as Assistant Professor.
She holds a PhD in Nursing from the Institute of Health Sciences of the Catholic University of Portugal; a Master Degree in Health Economics and Management from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra; and a Specialization in Maternal and Obstetrical Health Nursing.
She is a member of the Order of Nurses and founder of the Portuguese Association of Obstetrics Nurses. She has also won several prizes, and published conference papers, and scientific articles.
