The CardioCare research group aims to contribute to the continues progress of knowledge and practice in the field of Clinical Cardiology, focusing on the prevention, diagnosis, and approach to cardiovascular diseases.

The main research areas of the CardioCare group include prevention, epidemiology, genetics, imaging, pharmacological therapy, health devices, and health policies regarding cardiovascular diseases in general and some diseases and conditions in particular, namely, arrhythmias, cardiomyopathies, heart failure or cardiac involvement in AIDS.
