Catarina Matos de Oliveira is an integrated researchers of the research group Health for All, of the Research Line TL1 – Preventive Medicine & Societal Challenges.
She earned her Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Faculty de Pharmacy of the University of Coimbra and Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Technology from the School of Pharmacy of the University College London, in the United Kingdom in 2009, in the field of Pulmonary Drug Delivery. She worked as postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering of the University do Porto (IBMC-INEB) in the Biomaterials Division (NEWTherapies Group). Her research project was part of the BRIDGE Project (Bridging Biomaterial Research Excellence between Industry and Academia across Europe) and was financed by the European Commission. She also worked as an assistant professor of Pharmaceutical Technology at the School of Pharmacy, University College London.
In 2015, she completed her Degree in Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University do Porto. Currently, she works as medical intern of specific training in General Practice and Family Medicine in the ACES Alto Minho.
