Catarina Cruz is an integrated researcher of the NeuroGen group, Thematic Line 2 – Clinical and Translational Research of CINTESIS.
She earned her Doctoral Degree in Biochemistry (Molecular Biology) in 2008 from the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra with the thesis “Sonic hedgehog and the regulation of neural progenitor properties: new roles for hedgehog signaling during neural tube development”; and developed her work mainly in the Neurosciences field.
She is a Guest Assistant Professor at the Department of Biomedicine of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP).
