Maria Celeste de Sousa Silveira is an integrated researcher of NeuroImag, a CINTESIS research group.
She holds a Graduate Degree, a Master Degree and a Doctorate in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto. Currently, she works as an Assistant Professor at the same institution and as a Psychiatrist at the Hospital Centre of São João (CHSJ in Portuguese) and at CUF Hospital, in Porto.
At the CHSJ, she is responsible for the evaluation and clinical follow-up of patients with Movement Disorder. She coordinates the Psychotic Risk Detection and Treatment Program and is responsible for the Young University Psychiatry Consultation. She also carries out activities in the field of Forensic Psychiatry.
As a researcher, her main areas of interest include the field of Evoked Potentials and brain changes in patients with Schizophrenia.
