CINTESIS – Center for Health Technology and Services Research supports the II International Congress “The Child in the World Today and Tomorrow!”, which will take place on May 27 and 28, 2024, at the School of Health of the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu (ESSV/IPV).

This initiative was organized by the ESSV/IPV and is part of the celebrations for World Children’s Day, which takes place every year on June 1st.

“The event aims to mark World Children’s Day and represents a significant milestone in our commitment to the well-being and future of all children. The aim is to present, discuss and bring together the current national and international phenomena of nursing care for children in their contexts,” explains Isabel Bica, a researcher at CINTESIS and president of the Congress.

The event will bring together “leaders, researchers, professionals and nursing students from Portugal, Guinea-Bissau, Spain and Brazil, dedicated to exploring the challenges, sharing experiences and opportunities that shape the present and future of children”.

Registration to take part in this second edition is now open and should be done via the event’s website, where the provisional program is also available.
