CINTESIS – Center for Health Technology and Services Research supports the 4th International Congress on “Challenges and Innovation in Infection Control” – IACS 2022, which will take place from 26 to 28 October at the Europarque, in Santa Maria da Feira. The event is organized by the Escola Superior de Saúde Norte da Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa (ESSNorteCVP – North School of Health of the Portugues Red Cross), in partnership with the Hospital Center of Entre Douro e Vouga.
The event is intended for hospital health professionals, including physicians, nurses, diagnosis and therapeutic technicians, senior health technicians, hospital administrators, pharmacists, and microbiologists, among others.
According to the organization, which includes researchers from CINTESIS, this fourth edition will aim to “multi-professional sharing of knowledge and experiences in the prevention and control of Healthcare-associated Infections (HAIs) and antibiotic resistance, combined with technological and analytical innovation. With a program totally focused on infection control, the congress will be enhanced by the experience of each of the speakers and the contribution and importance of all the health entities present in the fight against HAIs.
