Daniela Maria Pias de Figueiredo is an integrated researcher of the AgeingC group of CINTESIS, working as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Aveiro (Health School).
She began her academic career in 2000 when she graduated in Education Sciences from the University of Coimbra; and in 2007, she earned her Doctoral Degree in Health Sciences from the University of Aveiro.
Daniela Figueiredo has participated in several research projects throughout her professional career. Some of those projects are the “POPH: Qualification for Health Professionals”, the “Sounds4Health”, the “Use of CIF for the development of integrated interventions in patients with severe dementia”, and the “Rehabilitation for elderly COPD patients and their families”.
She has published several books and scientific articles in her fields of interest, namely, Dementia, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and Rehabilitation.
