“Delirium” Was the Topic of a Webinar in Geriatric Psychiatry

The European Association of Geriatric Psychiatry (EAGP), held the Webinar dedicated to “Delirium” on March 12.

Lia Fernandes, a member of the board of that organization, Karin Sparring Björkstén (Sweden), and Sujoy Mukherjee (UK) were in charge of the opening.

Sónia Martins, a researcher at CINTESIS/FMUP, was one of the speakers at this international event in Geriatric Psychiatry. The psychologist talked about “Delirium in Critically ill Older Patients: Assessment and Psychological Outcomes”.

This webinar was also attended by Mani Santhana Krishnan (TEWV NHS Foundation Trust), who spoke about education and awareness of the topic of “delirium”.

This event was part of a series of webinars on different aspects of Geriatric Psychiatry, organized by EAGP.
