“Digital Health in Obstetrics” is the topic of the final results demonstration seminar of the ObsCare WCR project, which will take place next September 23, from 11h00 to 17h30, in the UPTEC (Asprela 1).

The opening session of this seminar is scheduled for 11h00, followed by a panel discussion entitled “The current challenge of obstetrics data sharing”, with Diogo Ayres de Campos, Marina Moucho, Ana Paula Machado, Maria do Céu Rodrigues, and Alexandrina Cardoso.

According to the program, the demonstration of the ObsCare-WCR solution will take place from 13h30 and 14h30, followed by a new panel discussion about “The future – ObsCare 5.0”, with Diogo Ayres de Campos, Ana Paula Machado, Andreia Fonseca, Cristina Martins, Maria do Céu Rodrigues, and Maria Espírito Santo. At 16h30 pm, the work meeting of the Portuguese Consortium for Obstetric Data (CPDO) will take place.

The ObsCare WCR Demonstrator – Worldwide maternal and child Care patient record and Research is “a demonstrator project of an innovative system that covers the maternal and child data circuit, from primary care to hospitals, including information managed by pregnant women, and includes decision support tools and calculation of international indicators, based on open technologies.”

The project is funded by Norte2020/FEDER and its lead promoter is VirtualCare, a spin-off of CINTESIS – Center for Health Technology and Services Research / Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto. Healthy Systems and CINTESIS are co-promoters, and the University Hospital Center of São João (UHCSJ) and the Local Health Care Unit of Matosinhos (ULSM) are co-promoters and end users.
