Diogo Pestana, a researcher at CINTESIS – Center for Health Technology and Services Research/NOVA Medical School was in the TV show “Linha da Frente“, on RTP1.

Interviewed in the first part of a piece entitled “Dose de Contágio” (Contamination dose), the researcher talked about human exposure, particularly during pregnancy, to environmental pollutants that are considered endocrine disruptors (or alterers).

The consequences are highly prevalent diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and cancer.  Among the targets of his research are contaminants such as the pesticide DDT. This was already mentioned by the expert in 2020, in an interview with CINTESIS.
