The scientific community continues to call on the government to give access to data on patients and suspected of being infected with the new coronavirus in Portugal. The objective is to study them to optimize the response to the pandemic.
After the publicly launched appeal, scientists moved forward with an online petition that already has thousands of subscribers. The initiative came from a group that includes Altamiro da Costa Pereira, coordinator of CINTESIS, and director of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP).
