Filipe Prazeres is an integrated doctorate researcher of the research group Health for All, Research Line (TL1) – Preventive Medicine & Societal Challenges.
Her earned his Doctorate in Medicine from the Faculty de Health Sciences of the University of Beira Interior with the thesis “MM-PT study: multimorbidity in primary care” (2012-2018). He later studied Medicine at the Nova Medical School of Lisbon, and a specialization course in Geriatric Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra.
Filipe Prazeres is a medical doctor specialized in General and Family Medicine since 2011. He has worked in several hospitals, and Family Health Units/Health Centers. In 2016 he settled at the Family Health Unit of Beira Ria/Health Center of Ílhavo. As a researcher, he has published several scientific publications.
He is also guest assistant professor at the Department of Medical Sciences of the University of Beira Interior (UBI).
