Isabel Duarte is an integrated researcher of the BioOncoSim research group of CINTESIS at the University of Algarve (UAlg).

She holds a Doctorate in Medical Sciences from Radboud University (Nijmegen, Netherlands), she has a Master in Oncology from the Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar (ICBAS) of the University of Porto and a Degree in Applied Biology from the University of Minho.

As a researcher in Bioinformatics at CINTESIS, her areas of interest include Oncology and Genomics. She is also a Guest Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences of the UAlg.
