Isabel Santos is an integrated member of the research group AgeingC at CINTESIS.
In 1996, she graduated in Psychology from the Faculty of Psycology and Education Sciences of the University of Lisbon where she also completed her master studies in Cognitive Psychology in 2001. She earned her PhD degree from York University in Great Britain in 2004. She was a postdoctoral researcher at this British University until 2005 and at the Autonomous University of Madrid in Spain between 2005 and 2007. She then joined the University of Aveiro, in 2009, as guest assistant professor.
She has been working as an assistant professor of the Department of Education and Psychology of the University of Aveiro since 2004. Isabel Santos has several projects funded by entities such as the Bial Foundation and the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology and has published several scientific articles in areas such as Experimental Psychology, Psychophysiology and Psychopathology.
