LUSA // The Pandemic is an “Opportunity” to Replan Care for Those Living in Nursing Homes

The pandemic crisis is a “unique opportunity” to implement Person-Centered Care. This is one of the conclusions of a study developed by a team of researchers from CINTESIS, as reported by Agência LUSA.

The study is part of the project entitled “Atenção Centrada na pessoa na prestação de cuidados na velhice: abordagens e instrumentos de avaliação” (“Person-centered care in old age: approaches and assessment tools”), funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology, through a PhD grant awarded to Maria Miguel Barbosa from CINTESIS/The University of Beira Interior  (UBI).
