Milaydis Sosa Napolskij is a researcher of the group Charter and a member of the management team at CINTESIS where she began working in June 2017.

She holds a degree in English from the University of La Habana, Cuba, and completed a specialization in Terminology and Translation in 2004 and a Ph.D. in Language Sciences, specifically in the Human Language Technologies branch, in 2021, both from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto (FLUP).

She is a translator and an interpreter who began her career as an English teacher. In 2003, she started managing communication and scholarships in the High-Level Scholarship Program for Latin America (AlBan). In 2010, she joined the Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar (ICBAS) as an office manager of the Department of Immuno-Physiology and Pharmacology (IMFF) and the Unit for Multidisciplinary Research in Biomedicine – UMIB.

She works as translator, editor and proofreader of scientific texts in Life and Health Sciences, and as science manager in CINTESIS and the Knowledge Management Unit of FMUP.
