Nara Xavier Moreira is an integrated member of the research group ProNutri at CINTESIS.
She holds a degree in Nutrition from the State University of Ceará (UECE) in Fortaleza, and a Master and a PhD in Food Sciences, both from the University of São Paulo (USP), in Brazil. She has been a professor at several Brazilian universities, especially the Fluminense Federal University – UFF, where she was also coordinator of the Laboratory of Food and Dietetics (LABDI) and Head of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics.
She is currently working as postdoctoral fellow at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto researching in the area of Nutrition and Metabolism.
