Pedro Rocha is a researcher at CINTESIS, in the AgeingC research group, Thematic Line (T11) – Preventive Medicine & Societal Challenges.

He graduated and received his Ph.D. in Education Sciences from the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto, in 2008 and 2014, respectively. He worked as a researcher in projects developed by the Center for Educational Research and Intervention of the University of Porto and by the Institute of Ethnomusicology – Center for Studies in Music and Dance (INET-md). He has also worked as a consultant for the Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação (SPI) and GesEntrepreneur. He has experience as a volunteer at the Casa do Gaiato, in the Professional Institute “O Terço” and in the Vista Alegre Museum.

Currently, he is a researcher at CINTESIS/ICBAS and is a team member of the project SHAPES – Smart and Healthy Ageing through People Engaging in Supportive Systems, funded by the European Union in the framework of Horizon 2020.
