João Fonseca, a researcher at CINTESIS – Centro de Investigação em Tecnologias e Serviços de Saúde and professor of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto, was interviewed by the Porto Canal on the fight against the new coronavirus in Portugal.
The researcher questioned the reliability of official COVID-19 data and commented on some of the proposed measures, such as the sanitary siege.
He, however, supports testings and the use of masks by the population, giving the example of countries that have already done so and that managed to control the virus successfully.
