About 600 people were hospitalized in 2015 because of psychotic disorders associated with cannabis use. The number of this type of hospital cases has been increasing since the beginning of the century. The conclusions are from a study developed by the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP) and by CINTESIS – Center for Health Technology and Services Research.
The researcher Manuel Gonçalves-Pinho was in the program “Mentes que Brilham”, from Porto Canal, to talk about the results of his latest work, which also included Miguel Bragança and Alberto Freitas (CINTESIS / FMUP).
