Ricardo Pinto Vaz is an integrated researcher of the NeuroGen group, Thematic Line 2 – Clinical & Translational Research of CINTESIS.

He earned his Doctoral Degree in Neuroscience from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP) with the thesis entitled “Center of the Olfactory Tract Lateral Morphological, Histochemical and Functional Study”, after graduating in Medicine at the same institution.

Currently, he works as a Guest Assistant Lecturer at the Anatomy Unit of the Department of Biomedicine of FMUP and as an Otolaryngologist  at the Hospital Centre of São João and the Instituto CUF Porto.
