Sofia Baptista is a researcher at CINTESIS, working in the research group Health for All.

She earned her integrated Master’s degree in Medicine and Ph.D. from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP) in 2012 and 2020, respectively. In 2014, she completed postgraduate studies in Research Methodology, Database Analysis with STATA software at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

She is currently a Guest Assistant Professor at FMUP. She is also a family doctor in the UCSP Foz do Douro (ARS Norte) and co-editor of the Revista Portuguesa de Medicina Geral e Familiar (RPMGF, Portuguese Journal of General Practice and Family Medicine).
