Soraia Teles de Sousa is a researcher at AgeingC, a research group of CINTESIS.

She received her Ph.D. degree from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto in 2022, a Master’s degree from the Porto Business School – Portuguese Catholic University (Porto) in 2016, and an integrated Master’s degree in Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto in 2011.

She is currently a researcher at the Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar, having published articles and book chapters in her areas of interest, with emphasis on the chapter entitled “Support for carers of people living with dementia”, published in the WHO Global status report on the public health response to dementia.
