The Summer School of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP), through MEDCIDS- Department of Community Medicine, Information and Decision in Health, together with CINTESIS – Center for Health Technology and Services Research, is back with a new edition. The school is coordinated by Ivone Duarte, professor at FMUP and researcher at CINTESIS.
From July to September, a wide range of courses, Seminars, and Workshops in different areas are planned, namely General and Family Medicine, Research Methodology, Data Science, Medical Statistics, Bioethics, and History of Medicine, among others.
With the participation of about thirty professors, this initiative is aimed at undergraduate and postgraduate students, professionals, and researchers in the Health Sciences area or other areas, such as Social Sciences, Mathematics or Statistics, who wish to deepen their knowledge in the various themes.
This edition of the Version School will take place both in-person and online, using “technologies that support hybrid or totally distance learning, seeking to bring together geographically dispersed people and institutions from different areas of knowledge.
According to the published calendar, this continuing education event will start on July 4th and will last until July 8th, before returning on September 5th.
