TVI // Time to Reschedule the Tests That Were Postponed Due to the Pandemic

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many tests and consultations have been postponed. The timely diagnosis and treatment of cancer may be at stake.

In statements to TVI, Mário Dinis-Ribeiro, from CINTESIS – Center for Health Technology and Services Research and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP), ensures that there are safety conditions to reschedule exams and appointments.

The doctor, researcher, and professor says that the recommendations are being followed and that it is necessary to make up for the lost time.
