Wilson Abreu is an integrated member of the research group NursID of CINTESIS, based at the Nursing School of Porto (ESEP), where he works as Coordinating Professor with Aggregation. He is also a member of the Scientific Council and Coordinator of the Research Unit UNIESEP.
He is Doctor in Education from the University of Lisbon and a Master of Science in Education from the same University. He earned his Aggregation in Health Sciences from the University of Aveiro in 2006 and his Specialization degree in Mental Health and Psychiatry in 1987.
He has vast experience as a researcher and professor at an international level, and has also worked as Manager, Quality Manager, and Clinical Supervisor in Nursing. He has delivered more than 170 conferences in Portugal and abroad, and has collaborated with the Universities of Porto, Lisbon, Aveiro, Azores and Evora. Wilson Abreu has also authored several books and scientific articles published in specialized journals.
