O CINTESIS apoia o I Congresso Internacional de Enfermagem de Saúde Familiar, que irá decorrer nos dias 12 e 13 de outubro, em Arcos de Valdevez, numa organização da Sociedade Portuguesa de Enfermagem de Saúde Familiar (SPESF).
“O objetivo deste primeiro congresso é contribuir para a disseminação da evidência em Enfermagem da Saúde Familiar nacional e internacional e integrar a realidade portuguesa no contexto de partilha internacional”, diz Henriqueta Figueiredo, Presidente do Congresso, Presidente da SPESF e investigadora do CINTESIS.
De acordo com a responsável, a presença da presidente da International Familly Nursing Association (IFNA), Jane H. Lassetter, e de vários palestrantes portugueses e de outros países, nomeadamente Brasil, Irlanda, Espanha e Dinamarca), permitirá compreender o desenvolvimento global da Enfermagem de Saúde Familiar e refletir sobre os desafios para a prática e para a investigação nesta área.
Além de duas conferências e três painéis, o programa científico inclui a realização de seis workshops com uma abordagem multidisciplinar, sendo que dois deles serão ministrados por investigadores do CINTESIS. São eles “O Impacto do Delirium na Família”, por Sónia Martins, e “Notíficação de Morte em Contexto de Emergência/Catástrofe, pela psicóloga clínica e da emergência Cláudia Pires de Lima.

CINTESIS supports the I International Congress of Family Health Nursing that will take place on October 12 and 13 in Arcos de Valdevez, organized by the Portugues Society of Family Health Nursing (SPESF).
“The purpose of this first congress is to contribute to the dissemination of evidence in National and International Family Health Nursing and to integrate the Portuguese reality in the context of international exchange,” says Henriqueta Figueiredo, SPESF President and researcher at CINTESIS who is chairing this congress.
According to Henriqueta Figueiredo, the presence of the president of the International Family Nursing Association (IFNA), Jane H. Lassetter, and several speakers from Portugal and other countries (Brazil, Ireland, Spain and Denmark) will enable the understanding of the development of the Family Health Nursing field and reflect on the challenges in nursing practice and research in this area.
Besides the two conferences and three panels, the scientific program includes six workshops with a multidisciplinary approach, two of which will be prepared by CINTESIS researchers. They are “The Impact of Delirium on the Family”, by Sónia Martins, and “Death Notification in the Emergency/Catastrophe Context”, by the clinical doctor and emergency psychologist Cláudia Pires de Lima.
