Vários investigadores do CINTESIS – Centro de Investigação em Tecnologias e Serviços de Saúde participam no MEDICON2019 – 15th Mediterranean Conference on Medical and Biological Engineering and Computing, que decorre entre 26 e 28 de setembro, em Coimbra.

Rute Almeida, Ana Ferreira e João Fonseca (CINTESIS/Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto) foram convidados a organizar uma Sessão Especial intitulada “Smartphone based, patient-centred technologies”, agendada para o dia 26 de setembro, entre as 17h00 e as 18h45.

O programa desta Sessão Especial integra apresentações sobre vários projetos de investigadores do CINTESIS atualmente em curso, começando com o SmartBEAT – A smartphone-based heart failure telemonitoring solution. O evento prossegue com a resposta à questão “How secure is your mobile health?” e intervenções sobre“Diabetes management guidance by a logical unit supported by datamining in a mobile application”, Automatic quality assessment of a forced expiratory manoeuvre acquired with the tablet microphone”, “Combined Image-based approach for monitoring the adherence to inhaled medications”, “Mobile Application to Support Children with Anxiety Disorders” e “Smartphone Recommendation System to Prevent Potential Injuries in Young Athletes”.

Several researchers from CINTESIS – Center for Health Technology and Services Research participate in MEDICON2019 – 15th Mediterranean Conference on Medical and Biological Engineering and Computing, which will take place from September 26 to 28 in Coimbra.

Rute Almeida, Ana Ferreira and João Fonseca (CINTESIS/Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto) were invited to organize a Special Session entitled “Smartphone based, patient-centred technologies”, scheduled for September 26, from 5:00pm to 6:45pm.

The program for this Special Session integrates presentations on various ongoing CINTESIS researcher projects, starting with SmartBEAT – A smartphone-based heart failure telemonitoring solution. Next, the question “How secure is your mobile health?” will be answered, followed by the interventions “Diabetes management guidance by a logical unit supported by datamining in a mobile application”, “Automatic quality assessment of a forced expiratory manoeuvre acquired with the tablet microphone”, “Combined Image-based approach for monitoring the adherence to inhaled medications”, “Mobile Application to Support Children with Anxiety Disorders” and “Smartphone Recommendation System to Prevent Potential Injuries in Young Athletes”.
