O evento “ConectAR em movimento…”, integrado no projeto ConectAR, do CINTESIS/Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto (FMUP), irá decorrer no dia 10 de dezembro 2022, das 14h00 às 17h00, na Casa Comum/Reitoria da Universidade do Porto.
O programa prevê o debate de temas como o que fazer numa crise respiratória e a importância do doente na tomada de decisão e na investigação em saúde respiratória.
Além de uma espirometria gratuita, disponível no decorrer do evento, haverá experiências de arte sonora imersiva, pintura através do sopro e interação com o protótipo da plataforma ContectAR. Os doentes e cuidadores terão ainda oportunidade de falar sobre a sua experiência de investigação no projeto.
Liderado por Ana Sá Sousa, o ConectAR é a primeira rede colaborativa de doentes, cuidadores, cidadãos, investigadores e profissionais de saúde em Portugal.
O projeto ConectAR, cuja investigadora responsável é Ana Sá Sousa, CINTESIS/FMUP, deverá decorrer até finais de junho de 2023, tendo sido contemplado com financiamento da Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT). Além de Ana Sá Sousa, fazem parte da equipa os investigadores da FMUP e/ou CINTESIS Ana Luísa Neves, Emília Moreira, Cristina Jácome, Isabel Lema, Daniela Figueiredo e João Fonseca.

The event “ConectAR on the move…”, which is part of the ConectAR project of CINTESIS/Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP), will take place on December 10, 2022, from 14:00 to 17:00, at Casa Comum/Rectory of the University of Porto.
The program includes discussions on topics such as what to do in a respiratory crisis and the importance of the patient in decision making and research in respiratory health.
In addition to free spirometry, available during the event, there will be immersive sound art experiences, painting through the breath, and interaction with the prototype of the ContectAR platform. Patients and caregivers will also have the opportunity to talk about their research experience in the project.
ConectAR is the first collaborative network of patients, caregivers, citizens, researchers, and health professionals in Portugal.
The project is led by Ana Sá Sousa, from CINTESIS/FMUP, as principal investigator, and is expected to run until the end of June 2023, with funding from the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT). In addition to Ana Sá Sousa, FMUP and/or CINTESIS researchers Ana Luísa Neves, Emília Moreira, Cristina Jácome, Isabel Lema, Daniela Figueiredo, and João Fonseca are also part of the team.
