A Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto (FMUP) e o CINTESIS – Centro de Investigação em Tecnologias e Serviços de Saúde estão a organizar o Webinar “A Medicina e o Desafio do Covid-19”, em conjunto com a UNESCO e a Cátedra UNESCO em Bioética.
O Webinar irá realizar-se no próximo dia 10 de setembro, às 22 horas de Portugal (18 horas em Brasília).
Rui Nunes, professor catedrático da FMUP e investigador do CINTESIS, será um dos palestrantes. O especialista já foi responsável pela Cátedra UNESCO em Bioética, criada em 2001 com o objetivo de dinamizar o estudo da Bioética de acordo com princípios éticos universais.
Lincoln Ferreira, presidente da Associação Médica Brasileira, dará também uma palestra no âmbito deste Webinar.
A moderação estará a cargo de José Hiran Gallo, diretor do Conselho Federal de Medicina, e os comentários serão da responsabilidade de Diogo Sampaio, vice-presidente da Associação Médica Brasileira.

The Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP) and CINTESIS – Health Technologies and Services Research Centre are organizing the Webinar “Medicine and the Challenge of Covid-19”, together with UNESCO and the UNESCO Chair in Bioethics.
The Webinar will take place on September 10, at 22h00. in Portugal (6 p.m. in Brasilia).
Rui Nunes, full professor at FMUP and researcher at CINTESIS, will be one of the speakers. The specialist has already been responsible for the UNESCO Chair in Bioethics, created in 2001 with the purpose of stimulating the study of Bioethics according to universal ethical principles.
Lincoln Ferreira, president of the Brazilian Medical Association, will also give a lecture as part of this Webinar.
José Hiran Gallo, director of the Federal Council of Medicine, will be in charge of moderation, and Diogo Sampaio, vice-president of the Brazilian Medical Association will be in charge of comments.
