A Winter School 2022 (WS22) da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto (FMUP) irá realizar-se entre os próximos dias 7 e 11 fevereiro, com o apoio do CINTESIS – Centro de Investigação em Tecnologias e Serviços de Saúde e coordenação dos professores Ivone Duarte e Hernâni Gonçalves. O prazo para candidaturas aos cursos creditados foi, entretanto, alargado até ao próximo dia 13 de janeiro.
Durante uma semana, esta iniciativa de educação contínua, organizada pelo Departamento de Medicina da Comunidade, Informação e Decisão em Saúde (MEDCIDS), da FMUP, pretende abordar e aprofundar conhecimentos em diferentes áreas, nomeadamente nas metodologias de investigação, ciência de dados, bioestatística, medicina e gestão de saúde.
Desta edição fazem parte os cursos “Biostatistics: Linear and Logistic Regression”, “Introduction to Biomedical Data Analysis using R”, “MATLAB: Introduction and biomedical applications”, “Meta-analysis with R”, “Microsoft Excel for biomedical data analysis” e “Value-Based Healthcare”. Do programa constam também vários workshops e webinars.

The Winter School 2022 (WS22) of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP) will take place from February 7 to11, with the support of CINTESIS – Center for Health Technology and Services Research, coordinated by Professors Ivone Duarte and Hernâni Gonçalves. The deadline for applications to the credited courses has been extended until January 13.
During one week, this continuing education initiative organized by the Department of Community Medicine, Information and Decision Making in Health (MEDCIDS) of FMUP aims to approach and deepen knowledge in different areas, namely research methodologies, data science, biostatistics, medicine, and health management.
