A team of researchers from CINTESIS and the NOVA Medical School are studying the relationship between intestinal microbiota and the severity of COVID-19.

The project, which has already received funding from the Foundation for Science and Technology and Biocodex, is led by Conceição Calhau, a CINTESIS researcher.
