A study by CINTESIS – Center for Health Technology and Services Research and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP) indicates that only a small proportion of patients want to take an active role in decisions about their health instead of leaving those decisions “in the hands” of doctors.
The conclusions of this work, coordinated by Carlos Martins (CINTESIS/FMUP), were announced today by Agência LUSA.
