JN // The Pandemic Leaves More Than Half of Health Professionals in Exhaustion

A study coordinated by researchers from CINTESIS – Center for Health Technology and Services Research, Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP), and the Polytechnic of Porto shows that health professionals are in exhaustion because of COVID-19 pandemic.

the researcher Ivone Duarte, one of the project coordinators, explains to Jornal de Notícias what is interfering with the mental health of these professionals, many of whom are in direct contact with infected patients.

These are preliminary results of this work, which will continue to listen to professionals.
