During the interview, the researcher explained that health professionals, especially doctors, should consider individual factors, such as smoking, when analyzing exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO), one of the most important markers used in the evaluation of bronchial inflammation; at the risk of “failing” the diagnosis of respiratory diseases, such as asthma.
