“Como Cuidamos dos nossos Cuidadores?” Este é o tema do Encontro que o projeto “Cuidar de Quem Cuida” (CQC), desenvolvido em parceria com o CINTESIS – Centro de Investigação em Tecnologias e Serviços de Saúde, irá promover no próximo dia 20 de outubro, das 9h30 às 13h00, no Auditório da Biblioteca Almeida Garrett, na cidade do Porto.
Na sessão de abertura está prevista a participação da equipa do CASTIIS, de Filipe Almeida, presidente do Portugal Inovação Social, de Afonso Fontoura, da MAZE, e de Luís Jerónimo, da Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian.
Neste evento, estarão também presentes responsáveis das diversas instituições envolvidas no projeto, incluindo o CINTESIS, como parceiro, que estará representado pelo investigador Oscar Ribeiro. O investigador CINTESIS/Universidade de Aveiro irá intervir na sessão intitulada “Bem-estar dos Cuidadores Informais em Portugal: Qual é o Caminho?”. Com ele estarão Joana Lourenço, da Comissão Nacional de Cuidados Paliativos, Cláudia Marques, da Fundação Aga Khan, Isabel Jourdan, do Movimento Cuidar dos Cuidadores Informais, e Mariana Ribeiro Ferreira, da CUF.
Haverá ainda uma sessão sobre “Boas Práticas na Intervenção com Cuidadores Formais”, que contará com Flávia Machado, da Faculdade de Desporto da Universidade do Porto, de Ana Costa, das Residências Conde das Devesas, e de Marlene Fernandes, da Associação Portuguesa de Deficientes.
O “Cuidar de Quem Cuida” é um projeto implementado pelo CASTIIS e MAZE, tendo o CINTESIS, Portugal Inovação Social e ACSS como parceiros e a Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian e a CUF como investidores sociais. O projeto é cofinanciado pelo Programa Operacional Inclusão Social e Emprego (PO ISE), Portugal 2020 e União Europeia.

“How Do We Care for Our Caregivers?” This is the topic of a meeting that the project “Cuidar de Quem Cuida” (CQC) – Caring for Those Who Care, developed in partnership with CINTESIS – Center for Health Technology and Services Research will hold on October 20 from 9h30 to 13h00 at the Auditorium of the Almeida Garrett Library in Porto.
The opening session is expected to be attended by the CASTIIS team, Filipe Almeida, president of Portugal Social Innovation, Afonso Fontoura, from MAZE, and Luís Jerónimo, from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
The heads of the other institutions involved in the project will also participate, including CINTESIS, which will be represented by professor Oscar Ribeiro. The CINTESIS/University of Aveiro researcher will intervene in the session entitled “Well-being of Informal Caregivers in Portugal: Which Way to Go?“. Joana Lourenço from the National Palliative Care Commission, Cláudia Marques from the Aga Khan Foundation, Isabel Jourdan from the Caring for Informal Caregivers Movement, and Mariana Ribeiro Ferreira from CUF will be with him.
There will also be a session on “Good Practices in Intervention with Formal Caregivers”, which will feature Flávia Machado from the Faculty of Sports of the University of Porto, Ana Costa from the Residências Conde das Devesas, and Marlene Fernandes from the Portuguese Association of Disabled People.
