About Health for All

The research group Health for All is the newest to enter CINTESIS. The group’s mission is to develop high quality research in the field of General and Family Medicine (GFM) in the context of the Portuguese National Health Service and, whenever possible, in collaboration with international institutions.

The objectives of this research group are to develop research projects that address the different fields of GFM, treatment prevention, the level of clinical practice at organizational and community levels; designing and evaluating the impact of tools that can facilitate the person-centered approach and patient empowerment; applying different research design methods in GFM; strengthen links and collaboration among researchers, academics and GFM doctors; and promote continuing medical education activities related to research and statistical methodologies for GFM clinicians.
